JOB SUMMARY:
The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordination, leading the execution and documentation of customer implementation projects. This is a telecommute position with minimal travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES â€" Other duties may be assigned:

â€" Gain a complete understanding of customers’ patient and workflow processes. â€" Lead customer design meetings and capture and document customer design requirements. â€" Ensure that customer configurations conform to design principles and standards, are logical, and model the customer’s patient flow in a way that enhances workflow management. â€" Maintain information on customer installation details in a corporate database for easy retrieval to facilitate ongoing customer support. â€" Gain and maintain a detailed and technical understanding of software design and capabilities. â€" Meet or exceed corporate implementation goals. â€" Assist in the continuous improvement of customer implementation tools, processes and documentation. â€" Provide effective customer support, including technical support requests from customers via phone, fax or email. â€" Share in after-hours on-call support duties. â€" Provide work direction to assigned configuration specialists. â€" Interact effectively with customer project personnel. â€" Assist in the development and implementation of procedures for measuring customer satisfaction during and after installations. â€" Confer with appropriate internal technical staff for technical advice and problem solving. â€" Make product development recommendations based on customer input received. â€" Use appropriate computer tools to configure customer databases to implement design features as specified by the customer. â€" Maintain time log in connection with implementation and customer support activities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
â€" May, as a member of implementation project teams, provide technical and schedule direction to one or more configuration specialists.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
â€" Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field. â€" Strong PC literacy. â€" Familiar with PC network architecture and documentation tools. â€" Familiar with Sybase, Oracle or other database software. â€" Knowledge of Microsoft products, including CRM. â€" Must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage multiple technical projects. â€" Highly customer focused. â€" Commitment to customer care and building long-term relationships. â€" Excellent written and oral communication skills. â€" Demonstrated ability to capture technical and user requirements in an articulate and organized manner. â€" A professional, positive and enthusiastic attitude. â€" Strong project management, leadership and organizational skills. â€" Strong consultative approach to project leadership. â€" Demonstrated track record in facilitation of large, diverse groups to reach a consensus agreement on process. â€" Demonstrated track record of managing a defined sequence of tasks to completion within aggressive schedules, through individual effort and coordination of the work of others. â€" Ability to install, learn, use and leverage third-party “off-the-shelf” software tools. â€" Working knowledge of healthcare process flow, terminology and inter-organizational dynamics. â€" Excellent presence and credibility with Nursing and Clinical staff and management. â€" Three years of first-hand experience in hospital and/or clinical operations.
