Position Summary:
The Staff LPN is a licensed nursing team member working under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide quality care that is focused on the comfort and well being of the patient and family. The LPN is familiar with the normal stages of growth and development and signs of aging, and is responsible for providing age appropriate care. This position requires a service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills. For the purpose of delivering and executing daily routine care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups, some independent decision-making is expected in the execution of daily routine duties. Decisions regarding patient care or services require the review and approval of the Registered Nurse.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience as an LPN in an acute care setting within the last three years; license to pass medications may be required.
Current WA LPN lic! ense.
