Description: Maxim Nurse Staffing is at present recruited Nuclear Medicine Tech Assignment right now, this position will be placed in Washington. Maxim in Seattle is currently seeking experienced Nuclear Medical Techs who are interested and available to work in clinic in North Central Washington state. Our client r! ecently had a tech leave and is need of a replacement beginning May 20th for the interim hiring period. After a permanent replacement is established our client would love to keep a tech available for per diem coverage moving forward. Candidates can expect a schedule of Tuesday through Friday of 8am â" 5pm, it would be safe to assume the interim hiring process would be from 6-8 weeks. There is a possibility of a temporary to permanent position as well. Candidates should be comfortable with head e-cam and stress testing specifically.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of Professional Experience
- Washington State NMT license
- Active CPR/BLS Card (recognized by the American Heart Association)
- Proof of Current TB status (or willing to have completed)
- Ability to clear Nationwide Criminal History Check

Responsibilities include:
- Pleasantly greets patients, confirming their identification and correctness of the procedure. Introduces self and completely explains the examination procedure.
- Coordinates and participates in a variety of technical procedures, including in vivo and in vitro studies; operates radiation detection and measurement instrumentation including stationary imaging devices, scintillation gamma and other apparatus for in vitro counting.
- Calibrates and prepare radiopharmaceutical materials for administration to patients; formulates radiopharmaceutical materials from pre-prepared kits
- Level I & II
- Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program and/or meets all state required educational & licensing standards.
- Cu! rrent BLS card via state regulation and/or contract specific language.
- Current physical exam as required by state or contract specific regulations.
- Current TB test or chest x-ray
- Level II Position Requirements:
o One â"two years prior supervisory or Team Lead experience.
