Position Summary
The Staff RN/Consulting Nurse is responsible for providing telehealth assessment by using state of the art telecommunications, information technology and approved protocols; to clients ensuring the efficient use of medical and nursing manpower, facilities and equipment and to provide excellent customer service. This position works independent of direct supervision and requires a service-oriented individual. Work situations require assessment, decision-making within the framework of established protocols, excellent listening and communication skills, knowledge of computers, critical thinking skills and the nursing process. Internal contacts include ER’s, MMA providers, inpatient units and ambulatory clinics. External contacts include patients, family and other healthcare professionals.

Minimum Requirements
Three years recent experience in outpatient or inpatient nursing Three years recent triage experience

Education/Lic! enses/Certifications
Licensed as a R.N. in the state of Washington
CPR certification required
ACLS preferred

Additional Information

5 years ED or Critical Care experience required. Would consider strong telephonic RN experience.
