Patient Care Technician! /CNA
Pulmonary Medicine/Thoracic Surgery
Seattle, WA
Per Diem/On-Call
Day Shift; 7:00am - 7:30pm

This position provides direct patient care under the supervision of the RN.

1. Activities of Daily Living (bathing, grooming, feeding, basic hygiene)

2. Basic nursing care activities (vital signs, observation and reporting of signs and symptoms of disease state, posturals, simple dressing changes)

3. Assist in patient mobility (ambulate, turn, position, range of motion)

4. Perform EKGs

5. Bedside testing (blood glucose, colon sc! reening, dextrose secretions, specific gravity)

Re! quired Qualifications: WA State certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA-C) or an LPN. Must have recent experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital setting. Good oral and written communication skills. Basic skills using a PC. Able to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics. Able to occasionally lift or push up to 50 lbs. and pull up to 100 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications: EKG Tech skills.
