Post Anesthesia Care Unit RN
Seattle Orthopedic Surgery Center is hiring a full time PACU Registered nurse. This position is 40 hours a week, Tuesday - Friday, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current l icense to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington.
- Current certification in BLS, or within 2 weeks of hire.
- Current certification in ACLS, or within 2 weeks of hire.
- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team with coworkers, patients and others.
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts ongoing patient assessment utilizing post-operative Plan of Care, protocols and procedures.
- Completes all required documentation of assessment throughout recovery.
- Ability to set priorities.
- Ability to correlate clinical data with patient’s medical and nursing care.
- Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency on the unit.
