DSHS Registered Nurse 3

What you will do in this job:
- Supervise nursing staff
- Oversee the delivery of nursing care on a ward/wards
- Audit aspects of care delivery to ensure Nursing Standards
- Attend treatment planning and PET articulating the nursing need for the patient
- Utilizes data to help staff understand dynamics and find solutions
- Actively participate s in nursing, hospital or unit wide committees or work groups
- Other duties as assigned
We are most interested in applicants who meet the following qualifications:
A qualified applicant for this job should either have a valid Washington State license to practice as a Registered Nurse or be able to obtain a valid Washington State license by start of employment and two years of professional nursing experience or equivalent education.
Preference may be given to applicants with prior psychiatric and supervisory nursing experience.
