By pairing a Clinical Operations Manager with a Medical Chief leader in every clinic, we further our goal of ensuring that clinical leaders are engaged directly with front-line staff in the delivery of optimal patient care. This position will ensure that we have a focused leadership person on site at the point of care -- the most critical point in our delivery system.

The individual selected for this position, will support and lead the clinical staff and physicians in the implementation of Primary Care Medical Home p! rocesses, using a LEAN management approach to engage staff and! benefit our patients.

The focus of the Clinical Operations Manager will include:

• Spending a significant amount of time in front line areas.
• Ability to understand and willingness to implement standard work throughout your medical center.
• Desire to observe, mentor, and coach your front line teams.
• Ability and willingness to use visual systems to monitor standard work.
• Ability and willingness to routinely conduct 4-step problem solving sessions (A3 thinking).
• Ability and willingness to create a culture of accountability for achieving results.
• Willingness to engage your local teams in a manner that fosters continual improvement.

Qualifications

Education
Minimum Bachelors Degree Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare or related field.
Preferred Masters Degree Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare or related field.

Knowledge/Skills Minimum Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements, managed care, health care delivery systems and nursing practice; verbal and written communication skills; management skills, including human resources, program & budget; team leadership and development skills; customer service skills.

Preferred Knowledge of systems theory and collaborative leadership.

Experience
Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience, may be concurrent with clinical experience. 5 years clinical experience.
Preferred 5 years Ambulatory care and/or managed care experience.

License/Certifications
Minimum At time of hire Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
Preferred None Required
