Under general supervision, the medical assistant works with all members of the departmental health care team providing assistance to patients, and nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care, e! nsuring smooth work and patient flow within the department.

Experience:
One year related experience preferred.

Certificate/License:
Current BLS certification required.

Eligible for Health Care Assistant license

Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants preferred

Education:
Completion of Formal Medical Assistant program

High School Diploma

Hours:
Tuesdays 2pm-8pm, Wed+Friday 8-8, e/o Sat and Sunday 9-3
