The annual salary range for this role starts at $76,876.00/year, based on full time equivalent and increases with years of relevant work experience.

This position provides supervision in Interventional Radiology in Jones Pavillion. Ensures optimal flow and utilization of resources to meet demand for services with available staff. Addresses patient care or service problems as necessary.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The followin! g duties are intended to be representative of the work performed by incumbents in this position and is not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical extension of position responsibilities.
1. Ensures smooth flow of department operations by directing the work of assigned staff, including RN's and support staff. Assigns and changes priorities within the work unit to assure exceptional quality and service. Acts as a resource to staff, providers and other personnel for all daily operational needs.
2. Recruits, hires, trains, disciplines and supervises staff including completion of performance evaluations and competency assessments. Maintains and updates staff procedures, staff training programs and quality assurance programs.
3. Assists with budget development and management. Assures cost-effective daily operations and allocation of resources to optimize availa! ble staff with demand for service.
4. Participates in improvement p! rojects focused on achievement of annual goals and lean initiatives; ensures implementation of and adherence to improvement changes.
5. Ensures compliance with state, federal and regulatory agency requirements for facilities, clinical care and staff.

This position requires current licensure as a registered nurse plus three years' acute care nursing. Must also have recent procedural nursing experience. IR procedure experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to prioritize the demands of daily operations and organize resources required. Also requires demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, active listening skills and conflict mediation ability. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and build effective teams also required. Bachelors degree in nursing required.
