Our client is a mid-sized Health System in the Seattle, WA area, seeks a full-time VOIP Administrator for an immediate direct-hire opportunity. Job SummaryThe V)IP Administrator is responsible for the technical administration and support of the Cisco Unified Communications platform throughout the organization including off site locations. As a member of the VOIP team responsibilities include assisting with the design, implementation, and operation of the enterprise-wide communications systems.
Essential Job Functions Design, implement, and administe! r the enterprise Cisco Unified VOIP solution using Call Manager, Contact Center Express, and UnityConnection as the main communications platform and other integrated solutions based on organizational need. Perform strategic planning, evaluation, and development of the communications systems. Maintain and support hardware and software, including life-cycle management of Cisco voice systems and related applications while monitoring and analyzing telephony infrastructure for performance improvement. Manage small and large voice projects including tracking progress, allocating recourses, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions on time.

Create, document, and audit policies, procedures, and training programs for maintaining the communications systems, SLA’s for MAC activity, and end user training and support. Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization. Execute and sup! port organizational priorities short-, mid- and long-term in accordance with hospital’s overall strategic plan. Provide liaison support for IT and consultingvendor companies as needed.

Provides emergency on-call support and performs occasional after-hoursweekend maintenance updates. REQUIRED SKILLS Three years progressive leadership experience in the Voice and Data fields with specific experience working in converged voicedata departments. Extensive knowledge of IP telephony voice communication architecture, its associated network and voice connections, and component hardware specifically in the Cisco voice environment. Experience with the Integration of IP telephony systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless LANs, and other Internet-based services and protocols.

Experience with the specific needs and requirements to migrate users from a legacy TDM environment to VoIP including end user support. Experience in a high transaction, complex, mission-critic! al environment. Hospital experience is a plus. Experience supporting cu! stomer facing applications and internal user requirements.

Experience working with service level agreements and vendor contracts. Proven work experience with telecommunications (PBX, Call Center, Unified Messaging, Auto Attendant and Interactive Voice Response) Help Desk, Infrastructure, Data Management, System Management, and related applications. Hospital experience preferred. Extensive knowledge in designing workflow and customer relationship solutions.

High School diploma or equivalent DESIRED SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems andor equivalent education and experience Cisco voice certifications Our client offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
