Preoperative Services Coordinator (RN)

Location: Yakima Washington

A community based hospital in Washington state is searching for an experienced Coordinator of Preoperative Services. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and focused RN professional with management and evidence-based medicine experience.

Position Focus:
Assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluations of the nursing care provided to perioperative patients.
Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain Pre-Operative policies, protocols, and patient educational material.
Provide assistance to the director and physicians while improving quality, outcomes and service performance.
Supports the vision, and values of the organization to grow the Perioperative Service Line
Reports to the Director of Surgical Services.

A critical access hospital in Washington State.

This beautiful scenic area has mild! climate and is attractive to outdoor enthusiasts with plenty ! of year- round recreation.

Requirements:
Bachelors of Nursing required;
RN license current, ACLS within 6 months.
Two years recent Peri-Anesthesia experience required.
Minimum of three years management experience in perioperative/surgical services.
Computer proficient in Microsoft software, McKesson, Cerner, CPOE, Clinical Care Station and web station required.
