Duties:
Scope of duties: This position supports an office composed of professional Social Service Specialists 3, financial eligibility specialists, nurse consultants, and adult protective service investigators. This position is responsible for assisting customers and resolving customer service problems and complaints.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: An Associateâs degree AND two years of experience providing ass! istance to customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems; OR Bachelorâs degree OR Four years of experience providing assistance to customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate and comprehend, through oral and written forms of communication, with management, peers, clients, and the public .
Skill and ability to operate office technology such as desk top and portable computers, photocopiers and fax machines.
Ability to operate multiple complex computer programs essential to the performance of customer service duties;
Ability to work independently;
Ability to follow chain of command;
Ability to adapt and work with changes;
Ability to demonstrate courtesy, respect and honest towards coworkers, customers and clients;
Ability to interpret, apply and explain complex laws, policies and procedures;
Ability to multi-task;
Ability to analyze and solve ! problems;
Ability to manage work volume;
Ability to maintain st! rict confidentiality of all client data;
Ability to follow directions;
Ability to adhere to work schedule.
