Detox Nurse - RNs & LPNs

Location: Everett, Washington

Description: Evergreen Recovery Centers is at present looking to employ Detox Nurse - RNs & LPNs right now, this occupation will be ordered in Washington. Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity please read the description below.

We have two 16-bed acute/medical withdrawal management programs in Snohomish County, one in Lynnwood and one in Everett, that are expanding beyond nursing care to also ensure that patients have immediate access to assess ment, counseling and treatment referral by discharge. We have full-time and part-time positions available for all shifts.

We are seeking energetic, compassionate, hopeful LPNs and RNs to assist with detox admissions and provide patient care support during detoxification process including pre-screening, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, monitoring of patient, administering drugs, medications, treatments, and tests.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure in Washington State as Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 year detox/withdrawal management experience desired
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff, patients and referral sources
• Maintains compassion and empathy as well as clear boundaries with patients under the influence of alcohol and other drugs.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and be able to operate a company vehicle without restriction.
• Must comply with smoke-free workplace; non-smoker preferred.
