Director, Clinical Practice & Nursing Quality

Location: Tacoma Washington

Description: Affinity Executive Search is currently seeking to employ Director, Clinical Practice & Nursing Quality right now, this job will be placed in Washington. With direction from and in collaboration with Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer, will develop and implement strategies to establish/promot! e professional Nursing practice that is highly participative, evidenced-based, clinically excellent, and collaborative in nature. May act as primary nursing leader for implementation of new technology and processes. Will lead or act as a major contributor to nursing activities relating to performance improvement, quality initiatives, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Primary leadership for the facilitator of the magnet journey.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will develop and oversee programs and processes to foster exemplary professional Nursing practice across the organization. Will work closely and collaboratively with various nursing and non-nursing departments meet organizational goals. Transformational leader who exhibits professionalism, confidence, and inspires, motivates others to a higher level of professionalism. This position reports to the Senior Vice President Chief Nursing Officer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS! :
5 years leadership experience
5 years experience! in Acute care setting
2 - 5 years of magnet experience
2 - 5 years of Quality experience

Magnet experience
Electronic Medical Records experience
Strong leadership
Quality experience
Certification quality, or nursing administration preferred and required within 2 years of hire.
WA RN license
