Who we need
Chris Elliot Fund is now hiring a Program Manager, Patient Support Services to provide administrative, knowledge a! nd program leadership for CEFs Patient Support Services Programs (PSSP) within CEFs Patient Support Services Center located in Redmond, WA.
What you will do
As Program Manager, Patient Support Services, you will be responsible for ongoing program management, patient & caregiver support, collaboration with patient support partners/funders, budget and resource management, personnel management, quality assurance and legal/HR and HIPPA compliance.
Work with the Founder & President to establish goals and objectives for the Patient Support Services Program (PSSP), to prioritize key initiatives, oversee, give direction to and ensure weekly focus points/results from PSSP/HICs and to effectively apply the required resources. Manage the partner relationships required to provide CEF clients with effective patient support services. Develop mechanisms for identifying, vetting and maintaining partner resources for patient support/program funding. Develop and maintai! n high level of working knowledge of partner services which in! cludes outreach and work with social workers / health care professionals (local and national) through regular communication, education and collaboration. Provide clinical leadership by maintaining knowledge-base of current clinical trials to ensure quality patient support outcomes. Manage the Patient Information Line & Outreach Services (phone, email, FaceBook, Twitter, Pinterest, Website) to include supervising staff/HICs and volunteers, ensuring accuracy of patient data, quality patient support outcomes and ability to turn this group into future donors of our PSSP/Center. Provide hands-on patient support services that include: All Health Information Concierge responsibilities, needs assessments, health care system navigation and connections, care facilitation, education, recommendations, coordination of necessary medical services, as well as resource referrals and connections within the surrounding health community, organizations, and agencies. Facilitate effective proble! m solving by identifying and resolving issues and developing plans and goals to reach a supportive outcome, while maintaining appropriate client boundaries. Develop and maintain effective systems to track contacts and referrals and provide regular statistical reporting on client interactions and outcomes. Ensure the accuracy of all PSSP information, including full contact, demographic and biographical information of clients entered into the CEF database. Responsible for planning, overseeing and producing website content related to PSSP/Education, Awareness, Advocacy, Research and Events. Write content for blogs, factsheets, and other department projects as needed, including all social media efforts and coordination with in-house PR/Media Communications and Development personnel. Develop and implement conferences and teleconferences/webinars related to PSSP. Moderate online patient community including daily discussion forums and small meetings via GoToMeeting with patients/c! aregivers and partners/specialists. Develop and maintain patient resour! ces, peer support program, treatment center database, resource directory, and other departmental programs. Monitor the appropriateness and effectiveness of PSSP/HICs: Assist in the design and implementation of initiatives to improve the effectiveness of PSSP. Recruit, coach, develop and retain qualified, competent/licensed PSSP/HIC staff and volunteers. Manage the annual program budget and monitor/seek approval for all program spending. Coordinate and assist with the preparation of research grant/sponsorship proposals and or Board/Finance/Funding and Event committee needs. Travel to health professional conferences and staff CEF information tables at health professional conferences/meetings as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable federal and state regulations.

Education
Bachelors Degree in public health, nursing, social work or related field Current Washington State RN/Social Worker/etc. License h! ighly desired
Experience
Five to seven (5 7) years relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in leading teams or 4 or more to achieve results, program management, case management and budget management Neuro-oncology nursing experience highly desired
