Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for a full time Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) Float
at Swedish-First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Nursing Assistant Certified assists in the delivery of patient care and department related activities under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
In this position you will:
Provide patient care as directed by the team RN and within scope of practice
Transports patients as directed
Communicate and document all daily activities and care provided to the patient
Respond appropriately and timely to unit and patient alarms
Set up and maintain the neatness of patient rooms
Assist with patient admission, discharge, transfer, and associated documentation
Required
qualifications for this position include:!
High school education
Current certification ! as a certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Washington
Certification as a Healthcare Assistant Category A will be required within 6 months after hire
Acute care experience or completion of an Acute Care NAC course
Skilled nursing experience or currently enrolled and in good standing at a traditional registered nursing program
