Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Supervisor, Environmental Services at our Issaquah campus.

This position supervises a multidisciplinary team that maintains the physical environment of the hospital at the highest level of cleanliness, both from an appearance and infection control standpoint. Responsible for overseeing and developing the Environmental Services staff that functions in ancillary, inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and office areas.

In this position you will:

• Supervise workers, coach for improvement, review performance and assesse competency to ensure compliance with safety, infection control and regulatory standards. Interview applicants, orient and schedule new hire training.
• Conduct continuing education sessions inclusive of written competency assessments
• Write and del! iver performance evaluations
• Participate in departmen! ts annual budgeting processes and is responsible for managing budgeted resources.

Required

qualifications for this position include:
Recent Supervisor or Management experience

Demonstrated lead or supervisory experience in a healthcare or hospitality EVS environment

Knowledge of cleaning and infection control techniques/protocols, inventory control/ordering procedures and statistical/budgeting methodology

Preferred

qualifications for this position include:
Associate degree
