Description: MARS & Associates is at present looking to employ Critical Care Unit Director right now, this occupation will be placed in Washington. Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. You will be responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of a 10 bed CCU plus Nursing Support Services including RN's, Unit Secretaries, and Monitor Techs. D! irect reports in nursing Support including House Supervisors, Staffing Coordinator, etc. Responsibilities include hiring, developing, disciplining, and firing of personnel as well as maintaining a working relationship with the medical staff. You will participate in financial management of the department including budgetary planning, equipment, etc. You will report directly to the CNO.
You need a minimum of 5 years experience in critical care, BSN is required,and your MSN is preferred with leadership experience in any clinical area and a track record of improving an sustaining quality employee satisfaction. CCRN required or obtained within 12 months of hire and knowledge of and experience with CQI techniques - Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
