The selected candidate would be responsible for assisting and/or p! erforming the analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and maintaining core clinical nursing applications and/or information access applications, including Web Sites and will have primary support responsibilities for Meditech Pharmacy (PHA). This position would also tailor systems software to the special needs of the organization and to optimize performance of mission critical computer systems including CPU, peripherals, main memory, and secondary storage. In this position the right candidate will have to be confident in solving a range of problems, some responsibilities would include all those listed in the above at a complex level with intricate, varied tasks and processes. Systems software could include: communications software, supervisory programs, job management programs, input/output (I/O) management programs, database management software, systems utility software and language translation software (compilers).
This is a 6 to 8 month contingent position in Spok! ane, WA and offered through Volt Technical Resources - located! in Spokane, WA. Job Requirements
3+ years work experience in Meditech Pharmacy applications (PHA).
Must have 3 + years of experience analyzing user requests, requirements and existing Meditech revenue applications and associated ancillary systems daily.
Experience designing, coding, and testing applications.
Experience maintaining, administering and supporting systems software on a daily basis.
Experience coordi! nating daily with other professionals.
Experience providing reports and analysis of systems performance to upper management for evaluating and planning systems growth needs.
Experience planning, evaluating, developing and testing: new systems software, updates to existing systems and new hardware.
Must be able to Interpret, integrate and implement systems and subsystems from the specifications prepared by other programmers/ analysts.
Must be able to create, run and modify programs using the appropriate programming language in support of all tasks noted in this job description.
Meaningful Use project experience is a plus.
