Our continued success and growth has produced a need for an Electronic Systems Sales Representative.
This is a professional outside sales position to sell SimplexGrinnell Electronic Systems with defined markets (K-12 and Energy). This position entails establishing contacts, qualifying, developing an acceptable solution for the customer, and closing sales to meet a defined quota on a monthly/quarterly basis. This position includes the sales of fire alarm systems, nurse-call systems, mass notification, emergency evacuation systems, sound systems, and security systems. This position includes estimation and basic design of the systems sold.
Job Duties:
Sell electronic systems to designated markets in the Spokane, WA district
Gain market share within assigned markets
Complete formal presentations and demonstrations of syste! ms
Complete basic system design and product selection! to prepare accurate estimates to meet customer's requirements
Prepare proposals for work that meet customer and company requirements
Estimate change orders
Update customer account information in internal systems
Complete weekly and monthly reporting using Salesforce.com
Submit all required reports and training on-time as assigned
Resolve customer requests and issues
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Ability to relate and work with others well
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Enjoy working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Excellent time management skills
Able to solve problems with others to the content of all parties
Abili! ty to think ahead and plan
4-year degree in a technical or business discipline; preferred
3-years experience in outside business-to-business sales
Good driving record and valid driver's license
Those with experience in construction, K-12 Education, energy and electrical contracting preferred
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
