Position Summary:
The Consulting Nurse LPN is responsible for providing assistance to physicians in the outpatient management of patients, assisting with patient telephone requests, and assisting in the maintenance of facilities and supplies. This position is a vital part of the Consulting Nurse Department, working under the direction of the charge nurse. This position works closely with the Consulting Nurse group and providers office staff. Work situations vary from Non-Urgent calls to Emergent calls requiring knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion and good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude. Acting as the patient advocate the LPN has contact with, patients, patient families/significant others, community agencies, and MMC clinic staff and management.

Minimum Requirements:
At least one year experience in physician! 's office or other medical facility

Education/Lice! nses/Certifications:
Licensed as an LPN in the state of Washington

Additional Information

Experience with EPIC strongly preferred.
