Adult Nurse Practitioner-Endocrinology

Location: Olympic Peninsula Washington

Description: Affinity Executive Search is currently seeking to employ Adult Nurse Practitioner-Endocrinology right now, this position will be placed in Washington. Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the sponsorship of assigned Medical Director or physician, provides quality patient care at the! Internal Medicine and Adult Primary Care clinic. Works collaboratively with physicians, other providers, and nursing staff by providing daily patient management. Provides education and instruction to other staff as required.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Master's in Nursing (MSN, MN) in area of specialty; national board certification as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty.

LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Washington State with prescriptive authority. BLS certification is required. DEA certificate. Current ACLS; PALS is required based on area of assignment.

CONTINUING EDUCATION & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Continuing education and/or licensing requirements: Washington State ARNP. DEA Certificate. Continuing Education credits to maintain licensure. Maintain Harrison Medical Center non-physician practitioner privileging. Completion of HMH annual mandatory re! quirements

Population Specific continuing competen! cy requirements:
Knowledge and expertise in providing care to assigned population

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2-4 years ARNP or advanced practice experience in area of assignment in a health care setting

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing practice. Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork and problem-solving to achieve goals. Demonstrated skills in verbal communication and listening. Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers. Demonstrated skills in managing the care of assigned patients
