• Under the general direction of

the Nurse Manager of the assigned unit, a registered nurse is responsible for!
the delivery of professional, safe and quality patient care through the
nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

• Directs and guides patient

teaching and activities of ancillary nursing personnel while maintaining
standards of professional nursing and performing related duties as required.

• Must be a positive role model and

have good communication skills.

OUR CLIENT

An extension of facility’s emergency department, the new
Free-Standing ED will open in June 2013 with 15 beds including 2 resuscitation
rooms.

A team of RNs,
CENs, board-certified emergency physicians, PAs, ARNPs, and DI technologists
will provide 24/7 emergency care with CT, ultrasound, and radiology
capabilities.

THE AREA

Nestled among three beautiful rivers, this area enjoys over 300
days of sunshine annually, an abundance of water recreatio! n, excellent
education and sports programs, and rich scien! tific, technological, and
agricultural industries. For the wine enthusiast, the area is home to 150
wineries within a 50-mile radius! This
semi-desert region has low humidity and mild seasonal weather. They have little
snowfall in the winter and almost year-round outdoor recreation such as golf,
fishing, and cycling .

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate from an accredited nursing

program.

• Current registered nurse license in

Washington State

• Minimum

of 3 years Level III ED experience required. ED with ICU background preferred

• Healthcare provider BLS; ACLS

required; TNCC required; PALS or ENPC required

• Certification in related specialty

preferred
