Description: Seattle Children’s is in need of Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatry right now, this position will be placed in Washington. Provide direct care and assume primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of the children on the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. This includes administering medications, managing pa! rent communications and directing staff responding to challenging patient behaviors. This unit provides care for children ages 3 to 21 who have a variety of behavioral health disorders, including ADHD, psychosis, mania, depression, eating disorders and autism. This position will require some weekend work and in the future is likely to include a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
