We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to be responsible for ensuring that our most critically ill patients and their families receive excellent care
.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for managing the care of patients experiencing behavioral health issues and mental disorders including substance abuse and addiction.
Provide behavioral health assessments.
Provide clinical treatment including medication administration, education, and case management services.
Be responsible for supervision of personnel that participate in the provision of care to ensure the patient needs and expectant outcomes are met.
Required
qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, or must attain a BSN within 5 years of hire.
Current license to practice as a R! egistered Nurse in the State of Washington.
Current B! LS certification.
Experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred
qualifications for this position include:
Knowledge of psychotropic medications, psychiatric conditions and general treatment.
Ability to perform assessments, plan patient care, provide direct care and educate and orient families and staff.
