We have a new job opening for a hospital Infection Control Coordinator in the south Seattle, Washington area. We are looking for an experienced Infection Control Nurse.

Responsibilities :
Managing the hospital’s infection control program

Providing Bloodborne Pathogens training/classes for hospital staff

Surveillance, prevention, and control of nosocomial infections

Providing ongoing education regarding hospital acquired infection prevention

Project management and program development

Directing the collection of surveillance data.

Analyzing data & providing statistical reports

Conducting epidemiological studies to investigate unusual occurrences of infection.

Requirements include :
Registered Nurse credential required

BSN preferred

2 years of infection control experience

Nurses Certified in Infection Control (CIC) strongly preferred

A minimum of 3 years recent acute care experience

Comprehensive knowledge of CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission, & DPH standards
