Swedish Medical Group is recruiting an excellent nurse practitioner to join our inpatient Palliative Care team at the Swedish First Hill campus in beautiful Seattle. Seeking a NP to provide direct care and clinical expertise to improve patient care for patients with complex or life threatening illnesses. The NP will build effective relationships with referring physicians and collaborates with other members of the health care team to meet the needs of the patient. In addition to direct patient care, the NP is involved in educating staff about palliative care, participates in quality improvement activities and actively engages in program growth efforts. A competitive candidate will have a minimum of 2 years ARNP experience working in a comparable setting.

The Swedish First Hill campus is a 697-bed, general medical and surgical hospital located in downtown Seattle. As the largest of Swedish’s five hospitals, Fi! rst Hill is considered the main Swedish campus. In addition to! the hospital and emergency department, the First Hill campus is home to the Swedish Cancer Institute and the Swedish Orthopedic Institute. The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including the area’s largest childbirth center, NICU and specialty pediatric care.
