As a Hospice Admission Registered Nurse , you will:
Assist the team in the interpretation of ! policies, procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Participate/conduct nurse and home health aide supervisory visits.

Act as an information resource for the interdisciplinary team.

Participate in patient/family meeting to investigate customer concerns and potential for discharge/revocations.

Identify patients appropriately before administering nursing care, medications, treatments, and personal care.

Record all entries on flow sheet, notes, forms, and charts in an informative and descriptive manner targeting terminal diagnosis.

Required Skills

Qualifications

Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing

Prefer a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a hospice setting

Current unrestricted licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) to which assigned and current CPR certification

Good organizational and comm! unication skills

Ability to function with minimal sup! ervision

Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations
