Don't wait put your experience in coordinating nursing services and patient care to work in a new job today!Job Duties: • Coordinates with Patient Registration, ED and nursing units for appropriate assignment and utilization of hospital beds• Supervises the work performance of the Float Team personnel and the Nursing Administrative Assistants• Develops short and long-term goals and objectives for the Float Team and Staffing Office personnel who promote the • • • Coordinates with Directors/Patient Care Services to ensure an appropriate number and mix of staff are scheduled for optimal operation of patient care• Responds to all codes and emergencies and coordinates activities during these situations, in cases of emergency, provide direct patient care• Functions as the administrative spokesman in the release of patient related information to the media, using the guidelines in the Hospital Pre! ss Guide• Meets standards of regulation/review for JCAHO & D!
