NURSE

Location: Lakewood Washington

Description: CRC Health Group is currently seeking to employ NURSE right now, this vacancy will be placed in Washington. As a result we have full time Nurse positions available.

Accurately processes physician orders. Provides nursing care according to physician/extender orders. Provides nursing care in conformance with established standards. Performs accurate initial nursing assessment. Performs accurate ongoing nursing assessment. Notifies Physician/extender of significant changes in the patient. Develops nursing care plans to meet patient needs. Documents complete nursing progress notes. Explains planned therapy and treatment to patient. Educates patient on medical tests, procedures, medications, and other items as appropriate. Participates in treatment planning meetings.

Participates in program as requested/assigned:
Accurately follows through on physician orders, administering medications and treatments and scheduling outside consultations. Assists in the formulation of ITP and MTP, including assessments, writing care plans, updates of care plans, and discharge planning. Follows the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge of the respective shift and keeps him/her informed of all pertinent information. Demonstrates knowledge of Universal Precautions. Utilizes correct hand washing techniques. Accurately administers medications. Maintains accurate inventory of controlled substances. Accurately performs venipuncture. Correctly performs dressing changes. Provides direction and leadership in patient care to assigned personnel. Responds therapeutically to inappropriate patient behaviors. Demonstrates ability to teach peers new procedures. Competent in critical incident identification and reporting

Must be a team player who is able to work well with patients. Must be flexible, able to multitask and have a high level of energy.
